I Had Trouble in Solla Sollew

One of the most amazing childrens books authors of all time, Dr. Seuss has created vivid worlds that have nothing to do with reality and everything to do with the amazing things that our imaginations can create. Its no wonder that children of all ages (including adults) have come to love the spectacular doctor and his amazing books. One book, I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew is a story all about how a very strange character has a very hard time finding something specific.

I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew is all about a very strange character who is part puppy, part bear, and part…well, no one’s quite sure. He decides that he’ll head out to find a place that will give him better luck, after the place he’s been living sets him back with a tail bitten by a Quilligan Quail and a toe that has been stubbed. He decides to head to the wonderful city known as Solla Sollew. Unfortunately, however, no one is able to lead him to Solla Sollew, making for an interesting adventure as our narrator and main character tries to find the place that he’s looking for.

In I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew, children can learn about how not everything is as it seems, and how there is always a place for them – and that, many times, that very place is right underneath their noses. Filled with vivid words and images, this is one Dr. Seuss book that is not to be missed!
